Unreal Directive is a one-person site. I write articles about Unreal Engine development, publish them here for free, and that is basically the extent of it. No ads, no paywalls, no affiliate links. These terms exist because the internet requires them, not because I am trying to build a legal fortress. Read them anyway.
By using unrealdirective.com, you agree to what follows. If you disagree, stop using the site.
Intellectual property
I own the content on this site unless stated otherwise. You can read it, learn from it, reference it, and link to it. That is why it is here.
You cannot:
- Republish my work without attribution
- Copy it and sell it
- Redistribute it as your own
If you want to use something in a way that does not fit the above, ask. I am reasonable about it.
Cookies
The site only sets cookies needed to function. There are no advertising or tracking cookies. See the Privacy Policy for details.
Linking
You can link to any page on this site. I would appreciate it, actually. Just do not frame the link in a way that implies I endorse something I have not endorsed, and do not use the Unreal Directive logo without permission.
Liability
The articles here are written in good faith and tested in real projects, but I cannot guarantee they will work perfectly in every situation. Software is like that. Use your own judgment when applying anything you read here.
This site is free. To the extent the law allows, I am not liable for any damages that come from using it. That said, nothing in these terms limits liability for things the law does not allow you to limit, like fraud or gross negligence.
Changes to these terms
I may update these terms occasionally. When I do, the date at the top of this page will change. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
