What you're seeing
Reflected objects fade, leak, or disappear near screen boundaries or when the source leaves the camera view.
Likely causes
- Screen Space Reflections can only trace against information in the current screen image.
- A smooth mirror-like surface makes the screen-space cutoff easy to see.
Check in this order
- 01Open Reflections view and confirm that the artifact follows the screen boundary.
- 02Disable or fade SSR in the Post Process Volume long enough to confirm the source.
- 03Decide whether the surface can use more roughness or reflection captures.
- 04Use Planar Reflections or Lumen Reflections when off-screen reflection coverage is required and the target budget supports it.
